Question: What is the difference between
Nabi (Prophet) and Rasul (Messenger)?

Answer:

Praise be to Allah.

There are a number of views on this subject, one of which is what Ibn Taymiyya (rahimahu lah) explained here:

A Nabi (Prophet) is the one Allah has revealed something different and it is on what Allah has revealed to him. When he was sent but to go to those against Allah's commands to them to bring a message from Allah, then he is a Rasul (Messenger). But if he follows the Shari'a, which came before him and he was the one who was sent to a message from Allah to deliver, then he is a Nabi (Prophet) and Rasul .. no (Gesandter. "(An Nubuwat , page 255)

Some scholars have added other details, but these are the most important.

And Allah knows at it best.
