Bump On Gums Above Tooth, Painful

fruits of humility

fruits of humility Ibn al-Qayyim, may Allaah have mercy upon him-said:
One of the Salaf (pious predecessors) said. "Verily, a servant commits a sin by which he enters Paradise and another does a good deed by which he comes to hell" He was asked: "Why is that? "Then he answered:" He who has committed the sin of thinking it incessantly, which causes him to front zufürchten to repent, to weep and to be ashamed before his Lord, the Most High, because of this sin. He stands before Allaah, broken-hearted and humble, with bowed head. So this sin more useful to him as do many deeds of obedience (they do a servant to happiness and success), because she brought him to humility and modesty in such a way that this sin was the reason for entering the paradise. The perpetrator of the good deed, however, considers his good deed, not as a favor from his Lord. Instead, he becomes arrogant and amazed at himself, saying: "I have achieved this and this and this and that" This increases his self-glorification, pride and arrogance -. so much so that this becomes the trigger for his downfall "[Al-Waabil us-Sayyib min al-Kalim it-Tayyib, p. 15]
